WordPress Designer

We are looking for a remote graphic designer with at least one year of strong WordPress design experience. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about WordPress and graphic design and would be able to jump right into projects with little or no training.

Your job duties will include:
- Work with clients and project manager to create website design mockups based on their ideas, samples, likes/dislikes, etc.
- Convert PSD website mockups to functional themes in WordPress.
- Create custom WordPress and BuddyPress themes based on client requirements.
- Troubleshoot design issues with CSS, website layouts, graphics, etc.
- Various design tasks involved in the web development life cycle from start to finish.

Requirements:
- Prior experience in designing websites with experience designing on WordPress. Experience designing or customizing WordPress themes is a plus. Experience designing or customizing BuddyPress themes is a plus.
- Adobe Photoshop, HTML, CSS, Browser capabilities/considerations, Image optimization techniques.
- PHP, JavaScript, and jQuery experience is a plus.
- Good understanding of accessibility considerations and a good understanding of web standards.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Must be able to work remotely with little to no supervision, you would be welcome to work in one of our offices if convenient.
- Must be available during the day, Monday through Friday.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to be a team player and grow as business grows.

Pay rate will be based on experience. This position is for a remote part-time WordPress designer available for 30-40 hours per week with availability during normal business hours. WordPress Support Specialist Position

We are looking for a remote WordPress Support Specialist with at least one year WordPress development and design experience.

Your job duties will include:

• Updating WordPress core, plugins, and theme files
• Taking proper offsite backups of full WordPress installs
• Managing our support ticket system
• Working with clients to complete tickets as they are issued in a timely manner
• Experience using bug tracking, project tracking and SVN software a plus

Requirements:

• Specific experience working with and developing WordPress themes.
• Good troubleshooting skills to narrow down and eliminate bugs
• Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and complete tasks in a timely manner
• Must be able to work remotely with little to no supervision
• Must be available during the day, Monday through Friday Eastern Time
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to be a team player and grow as business grows
