BuddyPress
BuddyPress is a set of WordPress MU specific plugins that will transform any WPMU powered website into a social networking site.
BuddyPress adds a host of new features to extend the WordPress MU core functionality morphing it in to a powerful social networking platform. New features and functionality are being added daily in preparation for the final release! The current BuddyPress core components features are listed below.

We recently worked with Michael Corwin on his new photography website, MobbedMusic and we think this is a great example of just how versatile WordPress is! Michael was looking to create a website with functionality similar to that of TasteSpotting.com, but with a focus on music and concert photographers and connecting photographers with fans, artists and industry professionals. Instead of the “normal” content of posts and comments, Mobbed Music allows the user to upload images and vote for their favorites.
