Hi there,

After installing and creating a post for a popup to visitors I am getting the following error.

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/xxxxx/public_html/wp-content/themes/xxxx/header.php:3) in /home/fxxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-announcements/wp-announcements.php on line 106

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/xxxxx/public_html/wp-content/themes/fxxxxx/header.php:3) in /home/xxxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-announcements/wp-announcements.php on line 107

There are only comments on that line and I don't see anything that could be conflicting.

WP 2.8.2, PHP5, disabled a bunch of plugins but the error still existed.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Shawn

Hello,

I am also experiencing this same issue.  I have confirmed the error shows up in the default Wordpress themes as well.  Is there a searchable archive?  I suspect other users have reported this issue in the past.

Thanks!

G'day

Has this been resolved? I have just installed the plug in and I am getting the same messages  (below)  I get the Shadowbox pop-up but at the expense of my header.

wp-ann Version 1.8

Theme Blue Grace with 4 Widgets

WordPress 2.8.4

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/pyhoops/public_html/wp-content/themes/blue-grace/header.php:4) in /home/pyhoops/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-announcements/wp-announcements.php on line 107

I was hoping to find an answer for this here as well. Tested on a fresh install of WP with default theme and no plugins active other than WP-Announcement and Thickbox and I recieve the same errors.

It's a bit upsetting that someone had reported this back in July and noone seems to even care. Why is there a support forum and no support?

I'm either going to try to block the error message using css or find a similar plugin unless this is resolved soon. I really wouldn't want to wait 4 months for an answer.
