Category Mapping Plugin for WordPress MU
Do you operate a WordPress MU (WPMU) network and want one top-level blog to act as a portal for your global community of blogs?
We are excited to announce the release of the Category Mapping Plugin for WordPress MU.
This plugin allows any WPMU admin to create sub-blog category mappings. Network wide blog posts are then displayed under the top-level blog category pages.
The Mapping Plugin allows multiple network blog categories to be assigned to primary blog categories. This allows your top-level blog to aggregate all of the blog posts on your WPMU network in one place.

Once a mapping is created blog posts from any blog in your WordPress MU network will show up under the top level category you assigned them to like so:

Installation:
1. Upload cat-plugin.php to the PLUGINS folder in your WordPress MU installation
2. Activate the plugin on your primary MU blog
3. Click on the “Category Mapping” admin menu to setup your mappings
4. Map MU blog categories to the top level blog categories. More than one category can be assigned.
5. Add the “Mapping Widget: All Categories” widget to your sidebar to view all of your top level blog categories.
Click any category on your blog to view all posts filed under that category based on your mappings. Posts will be pulled from all blogs across your MU network and will link back to the appropriate blog post.
