StartBox Easy Hooks: Easily add custom code to your site

At the end of 2012, WebDevStudios acquired the StartBox Theme Framework from their very own Brian Richards. With that acquisition came all of the plugins that were officially associated with StartBox. Now StartBox has an entire team behind it to help ensure quality code in the framework and plugins.

I was blessed with the task to upgrade the Easy Hooks plugin and I am very happy with the end result. The plugin code was rewritten from the bottom up, while retaining the functionality and end result: a settings page to add code or markup and attach it to any StartBox hook on the frontend.

Along with that, we made sure to keep it translation ready and easily extensible if you want to add your own hooks to the settings page. It doesn’t have to be limited to just what we add!

If you’re a StartBox framework user and want to make it easier for you or your clients to add code or content to the site, go ahead and give StartBox Easy Hooks a whirl. Just search “StartBox Easy Hooks” in your Add New Plugins screen in the WordPress admin or download it directly from the WordPress plugins repository.
