Right Now – At a glance

These are your WordPress site’s basic Stats: Posts, Pages, Category, Tags, and Comments (Approved, Pending, and Spam).  Click on each of them to be taken to a list of each.

Below these stats is a section that lets you know what theme and version of WordPress you are currently running.  This is useful for tech support reference.  If you’re the Administrator it gives you the option of changing your theme.

Recent Comments

Guess what these are! These are Recent Comments posted to your WordPress site.  WordPress will list about 5 comments followed by a “View All” button.  Can you guess what that does?

Incoming Links

This is a neat Widget that uses Google Blog Search to discover when other Blogs have set up links to your site.  When another Blog links to your site, it gets listed here.

Quickpress

This is a way to add a quick Post.  All the essentials for Posting are there.  Just fill it in and “Save Draft” or “Publish” with the respective buttons.

Recent Drafts

This is a list of Recent Drafts not yet Published (if there are any).  You can click on them to be brought to their Editing Page.

Have you visited the new DrHyman.com?

Dr. Mark Hyman is a family physician, a four-time New York Times bestselling author, and an internationally recognized leader in the field of Functional Medicine.  His websites, DrHyman.com and UltraWellnessCenter.com, contains a wealth of information on Functional Medicine, his 7 Keys to Ultra Wellness, books, healthy recipes, dietary supplements and more.

Dr Hyman’s team was looking for a way to show the world who Dr. Hyman is while maintaining the many facets of his work under a single platform.  We knew that WordPress MultiSite would be the perfect platform to provide just what they needed. WordPress MS allows Dr. Hyman to manage DrHyman.com, UltraWellnessCenter.com and his microsites from one centralized location.

Using the Genesis theme framework, we worked with Dr. Hyman and his team to create a new design and layout for DrHyman.com and UltraWellnessCenter.com.

Working along with the consulting services of Margaret Roach and the design services of Kenneth Smith, the new DrHyman.com is clean, informative, easy to maneuver and easily manageable for Dr. Hyman and his team!
