WordPress 2.6.1 Beta 2 Released

WordPress just released WordPress version 2.6.1 Beta 2, exactly 4 days after Beta 1 was announced.

The WordPress Development Community is known for their amazingly quick updates/bug fixes. To date there have been almost 60 bug fixes/patches in the new 2.6.1 release, with more updates daily. This is not a critical update for any high risk vulnerabilities.

I expect the final version of WordPress 2.6.1 to be released within the next week.

As always the WebDevStudios team will install any new release in our testing environment to verify there are no problems or issues with the upgrade. Once approved we will begin upgrading websites still under a support contract.
