Spring is here and so is another Five for the Future Friday. Each month on the last Friday, the team at WebDevStudios (WDS) spends the workday giving back to WordPress in a variety of ways. That means we are partaking in this effort tomorrow.
Since the Five for the Future (5FTF) project was launched in 2014, WDS has aimed to contribute five percent of our resources to WordPress development. Last month, we did so on February 25th. Below, you can can see a myriad of ways our team gave back, which they shared on Twitter. This is only a sample and does not include all the amazing and interesting contributions our team made.
Everyone is invited to the 5FTF party, whether you’re an individual or a company. You don’t even have to be an expert coder. We highly recommend visiting WordPress.org for more information and options on participating.
To keep up with how we’re giving back tomorrow, follow WDS and the hashtag #5FTF on Twitter tomorrow.

Embracing all of the nerdiest parts of me and working on a wrestling RPG management plugin for #5FTF. Through some trial and error + adjusting my own thought process, I’ve got historical stats being stored when the stats meta is updated.

For #5FTF today, I created a Docker Compose config to scaffold a headless WordPress backend using both Composer and WP-CLI. Check it out: https://t.co/5zWvQJ6Ulv
Thanks for the time today, @webdevstudios! ❤️

What a fun #5FTF today @webdevstudios! Today I played with CSS on a cool plugin by @1AllenMcKenzie.

Today @webdevstudios for #5FTF I partnered with @AmethystAnswers to work on a plugin I’ve been working on called Yelp Polls. A simple plugin to create content dynamically that you can share using Yelp and StrawPolls. https://t.co/PH1sPohB4e pic.twitter.com/m6s4G1mMZl
