If you read our latest company news, then you know how busy it’s been at WebDevStudios. However, we’re making time for Five for the Future (5FTF). Tomorrow, April 28th, our team dedicates their whole workday to giving back to WordPress.
By participating in 5FTF, those of us working in the WordPress ecosystem can support its growth by donating time to plugin development and WordCamps, contributing to the core, volunteering at the WordPress Support Forum, and in a myriad of other ways. Best of all, anyone can participate in 5FTF, whether you’re an individual developer or a website design and development agency like WebDevStudios. Visit the Five for the Future web page for more information.
Last month, our team contributed to 5FTF on March 31st. Here are some examples.
Happy #5FTF day! I’ve got a few plans for the day:
1) a tutorial blog post of some sorts
2) bug fixes / tickets on WordPress core
3) a reimagining of a Twitch plugin I wrote several years ago (for Gutenberg)Let’s Go! @webdevstudios#WordPress pic.twitter.com/9oOiQFPDWg

How cool is it that I can work on projects that help the #WordPress community at my new job? #5FTF
I worked on a Full Site Editing footer block that I started a couple weeks ago. The footer pulls in the current year, and the site name, with an optional site design credit. pic.twitter.com/hKunkfMx5B— William Bay (@WilliamBay) March 31, 2023
Finishing up an article to kick off #5FTF 💻☕️
