Event Details

The NYC Happy Hour is a social gathering to chat WordPress with local leaders in education, and government. The event is focused around the large-scale use of WordPress in schools, and local agencies. We have some great speakers lined up to talk to you about their experiences working together to leverage the world’s most used (24% of the internet) content management platform.

Cameron Barrett

Cameron Barrett, the Head of Web Site Innovation & Strategy at Newark Public Schools, will be in attendance as the special guest of the event. He will be taking the time to share the story of how he built the school’s websites using WordPress, in partnership with the WebDevStudios and WP Engine teams.

Brian Messenlehner

 Brian Messenlehner is Co-Founder & CTO of WebDevStudios, and author of Building Web Apps With WordPress. WebDevStudios is a WordPress Agency that creates scalable and sustainable WordPress solutions for schools, government, and brands like Microsoft and Discovery Channel.
