gary kovar, brian mayer, WebDevStudios, WordPress developers, WordPress development, WordPress design, hire a WordPress developer

Yep, you read that right! Another two team members get on board with WDS!

Join us in welcoming our newest Back-End Developer, Gary Kovar, and Project Manager, Brian Mayer.

A little bit more about them:

Gary

Gary began his professional career writing product copy for an e-commerce company. From there he moved on to international product sourcing, wholesale account management, and finally VP of e-commerce. Along the way, he wrote small scripts and internal tools to automate many of his tasks.

A native Floridian, Gary has been a WordPress user since the early 2000s. In the mid-2000s he built, launched, and sold a subscription poker training website. Most recently he has launched a series of sites that serve to support small, locally owned restaurants. After attending his first WordCamp in 2015, he cleaned up a few of his own plugins and put them in the WordPress repository. Often dabbling in a side project to satisfy his own curiosity, Gary can be found attending and sometimes speaking at Florida WordCamps.

When he’s not in front of his computer, Gary is playing with his kids or trying to learn a new obscure stringed instrument.

Brian

Husband to one. Dad to four. Musician to many. Problem solver to all.

In addition to being a WordPress power user since 2.0, Brian Mayer brings expertise in business management, team leadership, information architecture, experience design, and marketing communications to the WDS project management team. Brian’s diverse industry background ranging from the arts to medical devices to manufacturing, along with an MBA, gives him a rich experience from which to draw to most effectively meet each client’s needs.

Whether it’s on stage with a mic, in a conference room with a whiteboard, in the backyard with a chainsaw, or in a spreadsheet with a formula, wherever there is a problem to be solved, Brian is there.
