May has been a busy month of new projects, milestones, and big announcements. WebDevStudios is steadily growing, and we are eager to keep the momentum going. Let’s take a look at all the cool things that happened this month. Here’s the most recent WebDevStudios (WDS) company news.

WordPress VIP

Recently, we announced that WDS has been named a WordPress VIP Gold Agency partner, and we can’t stop talking about it! This is really exciting news for us, as we have always been able to provide dependable, dynamic enterprise-level services. However, this partnership with WordPress VIP gives us additional opportunities to introduce our clients to a platform that is equipped as a best-in-class infrastructure. Custom Post Type UI Hits 1 Million Milestone

We did it! Last month, we said it was coming. Sure enough, within a week or so, our WordPress plugin, Custom Post Type UI (CPTUI) hit the 1 million milestone. That means CPTUI is actively installed on over 1,000,000 WordPress websites, and it is only the 59th plugin to have achieved such prestige.

WordCamp Northeast Ohio, WordPress Puebla Meetup

While WordCamps and WordPress Meetups are not back to being in-person events, they have remained virtually active. WordCamp Northeast Ohio Region took place May 21-23, 2021, and Support Technician, Christina Workman, participated as a volunteer. The WordCamp event included a keynote delivered by Megan Rose and featured a Contributor track.

On May 22nd, Frontend Engineer, Alfredo Navas, presented his talk, “Headless WordPress con Gatsby,” for WordPress Puebla Meetup. Open-source technology and WordPress wouldn’t be what they are today without the generous efforts of the community. At WDS, we take special pride in seeing our own team members give back to open-source and WordPress.
