First Five for the Future of Fall

It’s officially fall, and tomorrow, September 24th, WebDevStudios (WDS) officially dedicates the workday to Five for the Future (5FTF). More and more, we’re hearing people talk about committing to this WordPress initiative. Folks want to know how to implement it, sustain the motivation, and keep it robust. In fact, there’s an ongoing conversation about it at Make.WordPress.org.

Additionally, WDS CEO, Brad Williams, has been hosting WordPress Twitter Spaces events, and during a recent one, he and others talked about 5FTF and its evolution. The interest to get involved is definitely there. The conundrum seems to be how to nurture its growth and boost the momentum. (You can catch Brad’s next WordPress Twitter Spaces event tomorrow during 5FTF at 1 p.m. Eastern.)

Five for the Future contributions truly help. WDS team efforts have resulted in credited core contributions, plugin reviews and mentions in prominent WordPress publications, continuing education, and conference talks.

Just recently, Frontend Engineer, Alfredo Navas, used his 5FTF day to dive into WordPress FSE, which turned into a blog post and his acceptance as a speaker on the subject matter at WordCamp Nicaragua. See what the power of 5FTF can do?

For guidance on implementing 5FTF at your company or organization, watch this WordFest Live presentation. Plus, follow WDS on Twitter and the hashtag, #5FTF, to see how our team contributes their time tomorrow. Below, take a look at what our WordPress agency accomplished last month.

Just in case you haven’t heard, Brad wants to remind everyone of the following:
