Big things are happening at WebDevStudios! At the company’s monthly Lunch and Learn session, a lot of exciting information was shared about our internal products. Expert WDS engineers Mitch Canter, Rami Abraham, and Michael Beckwith led the way with WebDevStudios WordPress News, equipping our team with all the latest updates.
Mitch showcased new product and service releases, including the following:
ThemeSwitcher Pro is one of our newest and most exciting products. WDS Lead Engineer Rami Abraham explained how ThemeSwitcher Pro presents new opportunities to test and integrate new themes while an old theme is still active. He also provided a brief overview of common configurations, plugin activation, project settings, and other usage options. ThemeSwitcher Pro is a paid plugin, which you can get at a discount for a limited time through our summer sale.
After using it on numerous projects, it’s clear how much of a game-changer ThemeSwitcher Pro truly is. The tool is designed to help clients with a gradual website transition, allowing for more flexible timelines and budgetary allocation. This equips clients with the power, knowledge, and capabilities to update their current WordPress websites.

Backend Engineer Michael Beckwith then presented on multiple plugins offered by WebDevStudios. Included on the list were well-known favorites, Custom Post Type UI (CPT UI), WP Search with Algolia Pro, Buddy Pages, Instago, Automatic Featured Images, Scroll Offset, Taxonomy Switcher, and Site Documentation. WP Search with Algolia is another massive development in the WordPress world. WP Search with Algolia Pro indexes your website’s content and provides accurate and super-fast faceted search results within minutes.
Additionally, WebDevStudios has been building out many blocks and patterns to add to our internal libraries! From testimonials, carousels, video popovers, to helper plugins, we have been adding resources that make our work much better tuned to answering client needs. While these won’t be added to our WDS-BT core theme, they heighten our team’s performance and capabilities.
Additionally, WDS recently adopted many plugins from Robert DeVore (a well-known WordPress plugin author). The newly acquired plugins reside in WebDev Studios’ GitHub repository and are available for free download to the community. As we integrate them with WDS systems, we may also add them to the WordPress repository. We may also offer premium options and provide more WebDevStudios WordPress News updates. We welcome your feedback and suggestions as we add these new products to our repertoire.
WDS is on a trajectory for growth in 2025, with a focus on creating the best experiences and products for client projects. We’re grateful to team members like Mitch Canter, Rami Abraham, and Michael Beckwith, who educate us on new tools and other advances at WebDevStudios.
