WebDevStudios attended WordCamp Phoenix the last week of January and we have to admit it was nothing short of a great time!  The conference and its plethora of additional events were all perfectly organized and executed by Amanda Blum and the rest of the team involved in the organization of the event.  There were so many great things going on we almost don’t know where to begin.

First off, we want to give a huge shout out to Ryan Imel of WPCandy. He did an amazing job of reporting all things WordCamp Phoenix through out the weekend. His website has a number of great interviews that took place and there’s even a great live blog from the weekend.  Be sure to check out WPCandy and find out about all the great things that are going on in the WordPress world and catch up on anything you might have missed.

We also would like to shout out GangPlank and the people that make it possible. If you’ve never heard of GangPlank, it’s a collaborative workspace that is home to a number of tech companies and much much more located in the Chandler, AZ. The people of GangPlank opened their doors and desk space to us during our time in AZ (as they do to everyone) and showed us how wonderful a co-working space with a number of truly dedicated members can become something wonderful and progressive for the industry.

  1. Hey April and William… thanks guys for making it down. Glad to have ya at our camp 🙂

As for Gangplank… glad you guys liked it… we’ve worked real hard for the last four years in making it awesome and unique to where it’s the only thing like it in the country. Hence why we’re a ‘collaborative workspace’ and not ‘coworking’… if you’ve been to any coworking place you know what we mean 🙂 The traditional model doesn’t work so we made our own, and it’s working much better. Happy to provide the space.

  2. Hi, just needed you to know I have added your website to my Google bookmarks due to your extraordinary blog layout. But seriously, I think your website has one with the freshest theme I’ve came across. It very helps make reading your blog a lot easier.
