WDS at WordCamp Chicago 2014!

About WordCamp WordCamp ChicagoIt’s the time of year again for WordCamp Chicago to come around! This year it is being held at The University Center Chicago from Friday, June 13th until Sunday, June 15th. If you’re planning on attending WordCamp Chicago, you will be able to see WDS team members, Lisa Sabin-Wilson, Stacy Kvernmo, and Brad Parbs. Along with attending, WDS is sponsoring the event this year!

Lisa Sabin-Wilson will be speaking at WordCamp Chicago this year. You can catch her at 11AM on Sunday the 15th in the Architect/Lake room. Her presentation is on everyone’s favorite step in a site launch — Check & Double Check: Internal QA is Vital!

Description of her presentation —

Before our team can say that a project is complete … before we even hand the project over to the client and say “”We’re done!”” – we have put it through the paces of an internal QA process that checks and double checks the site to make sure that we’ve met the client’s requirements.

In this session, I share some easy methods that you can start doing with your projects today to improve overall client satisfaction and try and eliminate that dreaded list of things that just ‘aren’t quite right’ on a project you thought was done.

After the conference is over on Saturday the 14th, there will be an after party held on the 3rd Floor Rooftop Terrace. You will be able to see Lisa Sabin-Wilson there and pick her brain of all things WordPress!

As always, Lisa, Stacy, and Brad are excited to meet new people and make new connections. They are also excited to reconnect with those they’ve already met!
