WordCamp season is in full effect, and this weekend WordCamp Jacksonville (#WCJAX) takes place. WebDevStudios (WDS) Senior Frontend Developer, Jeffrey de Wit, will be there. While he’s certainly excited to be a part of the event and mingle with the gracious Jacksonville community, he’s very eager to get his hands on the cow-decorated camp T-shirt.
“It’s probably the most Dutch thing I’ve ever seen on a WordCamp shirt,” he gushes. Jeffrey’s also looking forward to “Gutenberg Block Basics” with Josh Pollack on Saturday. “It looks to be a good opportunity, especially since part of it seems to be a workshop, or ‘hack lab,’ as they’ve called it,” explains Jeffrey.
Other notable events include the Kids Camp, popsicle breaks, and, of course, the after-party. But expect to see Jeffrey hanging out the Happiness Bar. You may even be able to coax him into some shop talk. Maybe offer him a popsicle.
