The year is looking great at WebDevStudios! We’re keeping busy and taking things to the next level. So, let’s kick it off by beginning with an exciting announcement. Here’s the latest company news from WebDevStudios.
Introducing WebDevStudios’s Next.js WordPress Starter
WebDevStudios (WDS) is excited about the potential that Headless CMS provides. As such, we developed our own Next.js WordPress Starter available for anyone to use on their next Headless WordPress project! WDS Director of Engineering, Greg Rickaby, made the big announcement on Twitter.
Dev props to @itsAmorEh @KaptonKaos @oddevan @mikelikethebike and Rebekah Van Epps.
Special thanks to both @williamsba @LisaSabinWilson for the time to work on this project.
We love open-source! Please give this project a star, clone the repo, and send us your feedback.

Women in WordPress
Speaking of Lisa… did you catch her on Women in WordPress, a bi-monthly podcast about women who work in WordPress? In the episode that features Lisa, she talks about how her career went from nursing to designing to becoming the COO of WebDevStudios. She also discusses empathy and how that plays a part in her role as a leader and website designer. It’s an enthralling interview, which you can watch at WomenInWP.com.
