It’s eerie how quickly this month has passed. Alas, here we are nearly at the end of October. Client projects and internal Halloween activities kept WebDevStudios (WDS) busy. Additionally, talks, webinars, and social media events have, too. Peruse our latest company news.
In light of the pandemic, WordCamp US (WCUS) remained virtual this year. Taking place on October 1st, WCUS featured two tracks, fresh content, and is reported to have had the most diverse group of new speakers.
WDS Backend Engineer, Lax Mariappan, is among the new speakers showcased at WCUS. Lax’s talk, “eCommerce Best Practices: Wooing Your Customers Is Easier Than You Think,” covered tips that any WooCommerce store owner can implement. If you missed out, Lax plans to write for the WDS blog on the same topic. Stay tuned!
Alfredo’s talk, “Full Site Editing and Block-Based Themes,” which was presented in Spanish, explained what WordPress full site editing is and how the new editor works. If you missed his talk and want to sharpen your Spanish-speaking skills, you can watch it below.
