The Sister Project is a blog network or family of related blogs: sister blogs. Conceived by Margaret Roach, The Sister Project version 1.0 is a thread of conversation that started with just four “sisters,” Margaret, Marion, Paige and Anastasia. WebDevStudios was brought on board to help customize WordPress MU to fit the needs of this new and exciting blog network. We also helped train Margaret and her team on the functionality of WordPress MU, helping them understand the full capabilities of this powerful website platform.

The Sister Project is powered by WordPress Multisite, an open-source website framework allowing for a network of individual websites and user permissions with a single install of WordPress Multisite.
