One of the best things about working at WebDevStudios (WDS) is our amazing team of WordPress experts, developers, and enthusiasts. Our WDS family is comprised of talented, passionate, smart (and often snarky) people, and it’s always a pleasure to add one more to the group. Meet Scott Tirrell. He joins WDS as a Backend Developer who will be focused on supporting our client services at Maintainn.
Here’s what you should know about Scott: he’s been using computers since a monitor was a small television set and 64K of RAM was a luxury. Scott has been developing websites since the late 1990s. He calls himself a “survivor of Netscape 4 and Internet Explorer 6.” He later became a huge fan of WordPress and loves being an active part of the community so much so that he volunteers at WordCamp Maine.
Like most developers, Scott enjoys “geeky” hobbies, including retro video games (with a focus on Atari), Mystery Science Theater 3000, and playing board games with friends. He also takes advantage of the beautiful outdoors Maine has to offer and enjoys hiking and snowshoeing with his wife and two dogs.
He blogs at Second-cup-of-coffee and you can connect with him on Github. Follow Scott on Twitter and welcome him to our team!
