The summer heat is on and WebDevStudios (WDS) is on fire. With another new team member added, more recognition of our staff, and other new developments, WDS has some great news to share. Take a look.

Maintainn Tools Update

Designed to help WordPress site owners manage and monitor the health of their website, Maintainn Tools, the plugin from the WordPress maintenance and support arm of our company, Maintainn, now includes a new feature. Users of the plugin can view announcements, alerts, and special offers form within the widget on their WordPress dashboard.

Learn more about this new feature at Maintainn’s blog. With over 200 active installs, Maintainn Tools users will never miss out on important information.

Let’s Talk Diversity

Recently, WDS Frontend Engineer, JC Palmes, participated as a member of a panel examining diversity for a series called “Tuesday Trainings” at WordPress.org. In this video discussion, the panel addresses how to better encourage and support diversity at WordPress Meetups, WordCamps, and in the broader WordPress community. You can see what JC has to say by watching the video below.

Not only is Technical Project Manager, Alex Juchniewicz, passionate about WordPress, he’s also passionate about mental health. In fact, he blogged about it for the WDS blog, which was recognized in the Master WP Weekly newsletter.
