We understand that in today’s rapidly changing technology landscape, it’s essential to keep our valued clients, partners, and fellow WordPress community members informed about our latest developments and successes. Sharing company news is not just about facts and figures; it’s about building a sense of community, promoting transparency, and acknowledging the contributions of our team members.

We invite you to join us on this journey as we showcase the remarkable people and stories that define WebDevStudios. Together, we’ll explore what makes our company a thriving, dynamic, and united force in the industry. Take a look at some of the exciting things that happened at WDS in September.

WooSesh is a virtual conference for WooCommerce store builders designed to help them grow their business. If you regularly work with WooCommerce in your business, there are several presentations at WooSesh that will help you level up your skills and knowledge, including a panel session titled “How to Rescue Disgruntled Clients.” WDS CEO Brad Williams is featured on that panel.

“Attending this WooSesh panel is essential for anyone looking to learn about client retention in the web development industry,” says Brad. “During the session, attendees will gain invaluable insights into how to turn dissatisfied clients into satisfied partners and master the art of delivering exceptional service.”

WooSesh is happening virtually on October 10-12, 2023. Registration is free. Get your tickets at WooSesh.com.

It’s exciting to see how WordCamps are making a big impact once again, both in-person and online. Participation and attendance are continually increasing, and that includes our team at WebDevStudios.

On September 23rd, Frontend Engineer Jennifer Farhat volunteered at WordCamp Vancouver. When asked why she chose to donate her free time to staffing the event, Jennifer said, “My main goal was to connect with the WordPress Community since this was the first WordCamp Vancouver after COVID started. This WordCamp has also been very helpful for me in previous years, so as my first time as a volunteer, I wanted to help as many people as I could.” We’re sure she accomplished just that.

New Video Uploaded to YouTube

Are you curious about WordPress full site editing (FSE) and block-based themes? We just uploaded a new video to our YouTube channel that demonstrates the power of FSE and the Block Editor.

Every month, the team at WDS hosts Lunch & Learn events designed to connect our coworkers while expanding their knowledge base. Recently, Senior Frontend Engineer Alfredo Navas presented a session on FSE, which we have now made available to the public. You can watch it below.

WordPress Friday Returns

Speaking of YouTube… WordPress Friday is back after being on hiatus last month. Once again, Brad will be cohosting along with Victor Ramirez. They’ll be talking about WordCamp US and FSE. Catch the show live on Friday, September 29th at 2 p.m. Eastern, but it will also be recorded and available on the WDS YouTube channel after the live-stream event so you can watch it later.
