Laura is an Account Manager. She has a love of language, whether that entails improving her Spanish skills or translating client wishes into “developerese” or vice versa. She also loves solving a good puzzle, organization, planning, checklists… did we mention she loves organization?
This all aids her role where she helps to bridge the gap between sales and project operations focusing on client needs analysis, requirements gathering, and project planning. She works closely with our Technical Strategist and UX Designer during the strategy and planning phase of a project to make sure designs, project requirements, and plans are well-documented to successfully transition the project to our engineering and project management teams.
Laura’s first career was in nonprofit marketing, development, and communication where she created the organization’s first website in Microsoft FrontPage. On the side, as a fan of all things sci-fi and fantasy, she was a website and forum moderator for a variety of very popular websites covering the entertainment industry. Flash forward a decade, and the hobby became her main career.
When she’s not working, Laura can be found participating on stage or behind the scenes at her local community theatre, figuring out how to make traditional Sicilian recipes low carb, or exploring her surroundings on a daily 4K walk in her neighborhood.
Only she who attempts the absurd can achieve the impossible. -Robin Morgan
