The first step is understanding your team’s behavior.
This stage will give us the foundation for moving forward and allow us to make recommendations for development of your project.
Our strategy process is comprised of three phases:
Don’t make your plans in the dark! Use our expertise to light the way and make the best choices for your website. Our entire process revolves entirely around your needs and business requirements. We excel at translating your ideas and needs into action and deliver creative solutions that meet, or exceed, your goals.
The first step is understanding your team’s behavior.
This stage will give us the foundation for moving forward and allow us to make recommendations for development of your project.
Our strategy process is comprised of three phases:
It is important that we understand your needs and requirements for your project. We accomplish this by conducting an interview with you to identify your goals. This process happens during a series of collaborative meetings with you and our team to collect critical information that helps us move to the next step of defining solutions.
Once we have identified the goals and requirements for your project, we review the key points and provide important technical and functional analysis. At this point, we understand what you need and proceed to answer the question of how we will build it for you using the best solutions, tools and technology, based on our technical experience.
At this point in the process, we have answered the What? and How?, but there are many factors to consider, including budget and time. The specific deliverables for the discovery phase vary by project and we agree on all terms, together, before the project kick-off. Typical items include a high level functional requirements document, a project plan, and a cost proposal for complete system delivery.
DIGITAL STRATEGY
The Project Plan document is utilized by our design and development team as a roadmap for project completion. It contains every expectation that you have for your projects and provides a plan that our in-house design and development teams follow. It is basically a document that tells us what we need to build and gives you all of the detail on what you can expect as a final delivery.
The biggest factor in the success of a custom development effort is a clear understanding of the project, shared between our team and our client. We take a collaborative approach here and work with you, as a team, to determine the best approach to deliver a great product while working with you to avoid communication problems and agree on issues that can impact cost and timeline. We have defined a process within our project life cycle to ensure this shared understanding.
We call this process: Discovery.
Building on the foundations we created during the Discovery phase of your project, we begin to work through the visual style of your website. Using your branding, we create a look and feel unique to your company and its goals. Websites are tools for people, and our motto is, “People over pixels.” This means that we never design things for ourselves, but instead always put your user and their needs first.
The goal of information architecture is to classify the content in a clear and understandable way and arrange it according to relations between the content pieces, allowing users to find what they need with less effort. Every website or app needs a solid navigation system that helps users find what they need, as well. During the Strategy Phase of your project, we help build a new, or understand the existing, site map for your site to make sure it make sense to users of your website.
Upon successful completion of the Strategy Process, we provide you with a comprehensive document we call the Project Plan. This plan contains all of the requirements, goals and functional/ technical specifications needed to build your project from start to finish. This document captures the high-level details of the project, to include: project vision and scope, user functionality, and basic user stories or detail for expected user tasks, as well as the plan for Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing.
