David is a Lead Engineer at WebDevStudios. He has a rich history in software testing, web development, and design. He is responsible for supporting a team of engineers by removing any barriers in the way of a successful project. It’s important to him for his team to learn and grow together as they problem-solve and build the web.
David got his start in development by leading a software testing team focused on user acceptance testing. He expanded his testing experience by working on a quality assurance team focused on websites for travel and tourism. One of his first significant code pushes was to update the South Dakota tourism website. After that, he was hooked.
David graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a degree in Studio Arts focused on design and digital multimedia. This has led to great enjoyment any time he gets to work closely with a designer on a project.
He spends his spare time working on home projects with his wife, sketching, journaling, reading, walking his dogs, biking, and running. He loves camping with friends and family, oftentimes in Southern Missouri or South Dakota. He also has an affinity for cleaning up old technological relics like typewriters and computers.
