At WebDevStudios (WDS), Mauricio is a Lead Engineer, but he also has experience and an interest in frontend things. His role at WDS is to propose and implement features for projects such as new functionalities, custom integrations, and data migrations.

Mauricio has a solid academic background in computer science and computer engineering. He has worked in software with web development companies, focusing on open-source technology for over ten years. WordPress is by far his favorite tool on the web.

Mauricio enjoys reading and learning about mathematics, computer science, philosophy, and logic. He also loves spending time with his wife, baby, and their cats.
